"Please Judge, No Kids"
Britney Spears was back in court on Tuesday but unexpectedly, it was not to try and get more control of her kids. Quite the opposite, actually.

Spears was back in front of Los Angeles Court Commissioner Scott Gordon on Tuesday for another custody hearing. The hearing was going according to plan until Spears convinced her lawyers that she should speak on her own behalf.

"The hearing was going well, and I told Britney that it would not be wise to speak, but she is a woman, so I had to give her her way," said her lawyer.

As Spears began talking, people in the court sensed an immediate harsh tone to her voice. "I came here seeking more custody of my kids. After seeing the children, I beg you, please do not make me see them any more than I have to. It would be a shame for them
to see the promiscuous, drug filled life that I lead," said Spears.

Lawyers for Kevin Federline, the children's father agreed. They compared having the children in Britney's presence to that of the dog that Paris Hilton walks around with. In each case, the children or the dog are simply being used for publicity purposes.

Spears went on to say how she would rather eat spinach and liver five times a week then have to take care of her kids. The shocker of the day came from Spears when she said, "Judge, I would rather wear underwear than spend more time with my children."

The judge listened to the testimony from Spears and later made the ruling that would make his fellow American judges proud. He ruled that Spears would have increased visitation rights, with the opportunity for full custody should her life continue in a downward spiral.
