Can't Be Any Clearer
Amy Winehouse's family has been shocked this weekend with the news that their daughter is in the early stages of lung disease. While that news was shocking to the family, they were even more shocked to find out their daughter has a drug problem.

The family always knew that Winehouse was a smoker, but was unaware that along with smoking cigarettes, their daughter also was hooked on Chrystal Meth., marijuana, cocaine, smack, PCP, heroin, ecstasy, and pain killers.

Winehouse repeatedly tried to let her parents know of her addictions by getting thrown in jail and being photographed with pipes in her hand. The warning signs, however, were not enough evidence for the family.

There even was the time at their family home when Winehouse consulted her family. A close friend who was at the house at the time of the meeting, claims Winehouse told her parents, "Mom and dad, I have a problem. I am addicted to every drug that I have been able to get my
hands on since becoming a star."

Even with the direct admittance by Winehouse, the news of her drug problem came as a shock to her parents. It is not known what Winehouse would have had to have done to convince her parents she had addiction problems.

Reports surfaced over the weekend of a time when the family was together for a relatives wedding. Winehouse confirmed that she actually pulled out a joint and smoked it in front of her mom. The next day, she offered her father a hit from her crack pipe, to which he declined.

It is not often that someone as out of the spotlight and squeaky clean as Winehouse shocks their parents, so when big news like this hits, all news agencies clamor for the story. With all the attention of the weekend, Winehouse released this statement on Sunday.

"I am sad to hear of the news that my parents did not know I was a junkie. I tried my best as a daughter to do the drugs right in front of them, but they still wanted to deny my problem. I mean, how fu**in stupid are these people."
