Master Degree In Horse Racing

Big Brown was elated about as much as a horse can actually show emotion after his win in the Belmont Stakes on Saturday. The good news for Brown was that with his win at the Belmont, he secured a CS Master Degree In Horse Racing. The bad news was that he was hit with many racist jeers as he left the racing track.

Big Brown made history on Saturday afternoon by being awarded the CS Master Degree. He was the first animal ever to qualify for a Master Degree, but that upset many racist horse racing fans. They jeered him as he left the track.

"You just received that Master Degree because your a horse. A black horse," yelled one fan. Another was heard screaming, "Why don't you go back to Africa with the rest of the wild animals."

Among the popular chants that circulated throughout the day at the Belmont was,

"Go Home Browny!! Go Home Browny!!" The public address announcer was heard several times asking the crowd to quiet down, but to no avail.

Even his own trainer had somewhat racist remarks for the new Master Degree recipient. "He's the best damn black horse I've ever trained. The difference between him and other black horses is that he actually has a brain that he uses."

The horse himself did not back down from the criticism. At his Master Degree commencement ceremony, he told reporters, "They can chant and yell all they want. They're just jealous that a dark skinned horse like myself is better than anything they have to offer. Black horses always have been, and always will be, superior to any white horses."

For his perservearance in crossing the color barrier line that has long existed in horse racing, Big Brown is now awarded a CS Master Degree in horse racing.
